Coverage

Insurance

Currently in-network with Aetna. Credentialing in process with Blue Cross Blue Shield and UnitedHealthcare.

If you have one of these plans, your evaluation may be covered in full or in part depending on your specific benefits. Because coverage varies significantly from plan to plan, I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card before scheduling. Ask specifically about your benefits for psychological testing and whether prior authorization is required. I am happy to help walk you through this process if you have questions.

Out-of-Network & Superbills

If you have a different insurance plan, I can provide a detailed superbill after your evaluation that you can submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network psychological testing, though this varies by plan.

A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes all of the information your insurance company needs to process a reimbursement claim, including diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and provider information.

Payment

Private Pay

Private pay clients are welcome regardless of insurance status. Many families choose private pay for the flexibility it offers, including faster scheduling, no prior authorization requirements, and complete privacy since no diagnostic information is shared with an insurance company.

Payment is due at the time of your first appointment.

Accepted payment methods

Credit & Debit HSA / FSA Check Zelle

Accessibility

Reduced Fee Slots

I believe financial barriers should not prevent families from accessing quality evaluations. A limited number of reduced-fee slots are available on a sliding scale basis for those with demonstrated financial need. Availability is limited, so please reach out to inquire about current openings.

Questions

Common Questions

Will my insurance cover the full cost?
Coverage for psychological evaluations varies widely by plan. Some plans cover testing in full after your deductible, while others cover a percentage or have specific limitations. Does the fee cover everything?
Yes. The fee listed covers all clinical time associated with your evaluation, including interviews, testing sessions, scoring and interpretation, your written report, and your feedback session. There are no hidden fees or additional charges.
Do you offer payment plans?
At this time, full payment is due at the time of your first appointment. If cost is a concern, please reach out to discuss whether a reduced-fee slot may be available.
What is a superbill?
A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes all of the information your insurance company needs to process a reimbursement claim, including diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and provider information. I provide superbills upon request for clients whose insurance I am not currently in-network with.
